Schools out for hot dogs! We gave education a tasty twist when we visited Brighton College last the week. Pete popped down to share the Feed story and supply the hot dog vibes. Teachers and students alike got involved to learn more about Feed and taste the goods.
Pete spoke about the journey of Feed over the last nine months. He explained his beliefs in the power of good food doing good things and helping to end world hunger. On top of that, he offered ten pieces of advice to kick start a project.
Feed even got featured in Brighton’s local newspaper…
Brighton College were super accommodating and we had lots of fun. Let’s take a look at what they had to say…
Thank you so much for coming in to speak to us! The pupils definitely enjoyed your talk. I hope they adopt your charity in their houses. Good luck with making your target at the summer festivals.”
Sally-Anne Woodmansey, Head of Business, Director of Brighton College Society
All in all the day was a great success, both minds and stomachs were fed. In fact, we sold out of hots dogs and as a result 70 packets of Plumpy’Nut will now be sent to programs treating children with severe acute malnutrition. Next time we’ll bring more dogs!
